As you know, there are number of great personalities who have highlighted their name and fame within the Khatri community and they have been appreciated by the Government and the other communities of Bihar too. Their names are 1)Ayodhya Pd. Khatri of Muzaffarpur 2) Ram Awatar Pd. Khatri of Patna City & Kedar Nath Mahtha of Muzaffarpur. While Ayodhya Prasad ji is known as founder of Khari Boli in Hindi language whereas the later both Ram Avatar Babu & Kedar Babu are known as social activists & Freedom fighters who have'nt accepted Freedom Fighters' Pention from the Govt. However, in appreciation of their contributions in the freedom struggle in India, the State Govt. has named roads in their names at Patna City & Muzaffarpur respectively. Khatri Samaj should always remember these personalities.
